出生于东京立川的不良少年光一（永濑匡 饰）和好哥们八仔（荒井敦史 饰）等人浪荡度过了初中时代，为了能在高中站稳脚跟，他们决定加入当地势力最大的暴走族“立川狱门”。谁知立川狱门打着“新人教育”的旗号，每天对他们施以难以忍受的残酷虐待。光一无法继续忍受，于是接连缺席立川狱门的定期集会，转而和高中结识的朋友植木（堀井新太 饰）玩乐鬼混。另一边，八仔被前辈们折磨的半死不活，终于精神受到刺激，躲在家中不敢出来。好友的变化让光一怒不可遏，为了报仇他加入了黑道组织天心会，成为大哥猛身（木村佑一 饰）的小弟，从此遁入仁慈无用、暴力说话的黑暗世界。可悲的是光一很快发现黑道也并非单靠拳脚就能出头，他连最为重要的人也无法守护。母亲（南果步 饰）因厌恶黑道和儿子断交，与恋人清美（清水富美加 饰）也渐行渐远，光一不由的变得自暴自弃。在此期间，更大的危机漩涡飞速向这个年轻人靠近……
